Double Dating…

Chris and I don’t go out much, but we jumped at the chance to meet up with Edwin Martinez and his beautiful wife, Nina. They were in town for the holidays visiting Papa Edwin Martinez, from their home in Bellingham, WA and part-time home in Huehuetenago, Gautemala.
The only things I knew about Finca Vista Hermosa were from cupping it in the CoE Gautemala samples we received, a bag of it roasted by my dear friends at the Coffee Collective, and by the positive words from the Barismo kids. I didn’t know what to expect from Edwin and his wife at all, and going into it, as with many coffee people, you never really know if you’ll have anything in common except for coffee. Lucky for us, Edwin and Nina are amazing people. We had such a great time just chatting for hours at Octane, and then a wonderful dinner.
So, thank you guys! We can’t wait to see you again soon in a few weeks in the Northwest, and maybe someday in Gautemala!
